About my blogging experience

Hi! So today it's the last post for English 3 and I have to write about my blogging experience during this semester.
First of all, I have to say that I loved this course. The time for classes and blogs was amazing. I think that this course was so relaxed and that was good to make some kind of balance between all the stress about being a ''mechon''.
When I started this course, I wasn’t capable of writting as fluent as I can nowadays, so by that side I am so thankful for this chance to practise my writting.
The blogging sessions were amazing. I didn’t feel like I was doing homework, because I was writting about the things I liked and I could meet the opinion of my classmates. The topics were interestings and the blogs helped me to know some friends. English 3 has left my expectations so high for English 4, so I hope that course will be even better than this.
Some of the things that I would change about blogging sessions is the time. Somedays I was just with no inspiration and that made my work so difficult. All the other things were OK. This methodology was so cool for learning,

Thanks for reading my last post :)

Greece

Hi! Today’s blog is about travelling. First of all, I have to say that my ideal life is a life full of travelling. I want to meet all the world, every single country.
Today I will write about the travel of my dreams. Since I was a little girl I felt so atracted to greek culture. I was the happiest girl ever on 8th grade, when my History teacher taught us about greek culture. Since that day, the travel of my dream is going to Greece.
Other thing that made me fall in love with Greece was ‘’Mamma mia’’, a musical movie filmed on Greece. I mean, the landscapes are awesome. Who could resist to that beauty?
I know that nowadays Greece is experimenting an economical crisis, but I don’t really care if they still receive travellers.
Someday I will meet the Parthenon and the Achropolis on Athens, and I will also meet Sparta.
I think that Greece is a country full of culture, I mean, we still reading book written by greeks for example. And we also still studying some of the knowledge that the obtained, like geometry, maths, philosophy, theatre and poetry.
If you ask me to describe Greece in one Word, I will say ‘’awesome’’
What do you think of Greece? I hope you had enjoyed my blog J

My favourite subject

Hi!
Today I will write about my favourite subject during my first semester on the University.
When I was on 4th grade I only wanted to go to Uni, so that I could study what I really wanted. The problema is that I didn’t know that I would have some subjects that I will really hate (like Mechanics).
But today I will write about the subject that is perfect for me: I am talking about Techniques of Chemistry laboratory. I am in love with this subject because it is about that part of my career that I enjoy the most: experiments, investigation and lots, lots of science. I think that this subject is probably the most useful of all. I mean, in a future I won’t use exactly all the things that nowadays I am learning on subjects like General chemistry, Mechanics or Calculus, but i will use everything that I am learning about laboratory.
One of the things that I love the most about this subject is that I can practise everything I learnt.
What about you? Do you like this subject?

Greetings J

Alexander Fleming

Science is a field full of amazing people. Some people had make discoveries that had changed the world. Today I am going to write about a man whose discovery changed the way to treat lots of diseases. I will write about Alexander Fleming.

Sir Alexander Fleming was a Scottish pharmacologist, botanist and biologist who lived between 1811 and 1955. His best-known discovery was the enzyme lysozyme. He was also the first person who discovered the antibiotic power of the penicillin, a substance obtained from the mold Penicillium chrysogenum. (Funny fact: he wasn’t looking for this discovery. He could see this results after his holidays! On his own words: "When I woke up just after dawn on September 28, 1928, I certainly didn't plan to revolutionise all medicine by discovering the world's first antibiotic, or bacteria killer, but I suppose that was exactly what I did.")

Alexander Fleming won a Nobel Prize because of that last discovery.

Why did I choose him? Because his discovery still being so important in medicine. I think that the power of antibiotics is fundamental nowadays. Alexander Fleming took the first step to a modern pharmacology and as a future pharmacologist he is one of my icons.

I hope you had enjoyed my post!

Hunter X Hunter

Hi everyone! Today I’m going to write about an anime which has become one of my favourite in this months. I am talking about Hunter X Hunter.
When I was a child (about 10 years ago) I watched the first version of this anime and all I remembered was the first part of it, so about 2 months ago i decided to watch the second version from the beggining.

This anime tells the story of Gon Freecs, a 12 years old boy who wants to become a hunter to find his father, Ging. To become a hunter requires to pass an exam, which is extremely difficult and it is full of misteries. In this exam, Gon met his friends: Kurapika, Leorio and Killua, who is his very best friend.
This exam was only the beggining of their story, but I am not going to tell you more, in case you want to watch this anime!

Now i am going to show you some of the main characters:

From left to right: Killua, Leorio, Gon (above the box) and Kurapika.

He is Hisoka, one of the aspirant to become a hunter.

He is Kuroro, leader of Gen'ei Ryodan (enemies of Kurapika) and my favourite character.

I hope you had enjoyed my post!

Talking about a picture

Hi! Today i will write about a picture :)

I chose this picture because it has a lot of importance to me. This picture was taken for me a few hours after my graduation. In the picture you can see three objects that may look so simple but that represents the end of a period that was so hard to me. I will describe you the importance of these three objects.
First of all, I will write about the medal. That medal was given to me along my diploma. The medal meant that I had finished my scholar period. It was given to me by my English’s teacher.

The prize that you see was given to me for representing some kind of leadership. When I was on 3rd grade, I nominated myself to be President of the Student’s Center and I had been chosen. I was on that charge until I had graduated (I was chosen twice). The Teacher’s Board decided to give that prize to me because of the contributions I had made to scholar community.

Last, but not least, I will talk you about that ring you see on the picture. My grandfathers gave me that ring the day I graduated, just like they did when my mom graduated from school, years ago. It was some kind of and I suppose I will give my daughter a ring the day she got graduated, or maybe my mom will do that.

I hope you can understand the importance of this picture to me.

Music!

The topic for this session is one of my favourite things in the world, I think that is one of the best ways to express our feelings, and I’m talking about music.
Music is an important part of my life. I wake up and I listen to music, I take the Metro and I listen to music. I mean, I listen to music every time I can, and I would be the happiest person ever if I could listen to music all day.
The music I like is so varied. I like so many kinds of music. Some of my favourite bands are Arctic Monkeys, Marina and the Diamonds, Franz Ferdinand, Blink 182, Queens of the Stone Age, 30 Seconds to Mars, Muse and Fall Out Boy. My smartphone is full of music played by these bands.
Here’s one of my favourites songs:

All my own stunts - Arctic Monkeys

This picture was taken by me. I was so close to Jamie Cook, Arctic Monkeys' guitar player.

Thanks for reading ;)
